Stained Teeth
Years of coffee, wine, and natural yellowing brightened with whitening or veneers

A personalized cosmetic plan that combines the right treatments to transform your smile with natural, lasting results.
Combining the right cosmetic and restorative services for your unique smile
A smile makeover is not one procedure, it is a personalized plan. We start by listening: what bothers you about your smile, what you wish you could change, and what you love. From there, Dr. Cook designs a treatment plan that may include veneers, professional whitening, Invisalign, crowns, bonding, gum contouring, or implants. No two plans look the same because no two smiles are alike.
For many of our patients, a smile makeover is about feeling like yourself again. Years of coffee, wear, chipping, or shifting teeth can quietly erode confidence. We bring everything back into harmony, with results that look natural and feel comfortable. You will see your smile previewed before we begin, so there are no surprises, only confidence in the plan ahead.
Good to Know
A coordinated cosmetic dentistry plan combining multiple treatments
A smile makeover is a comprehensive cosmetic dentistry plan that combines two or more treatments to transform the appearance and function of your smile. Rather than addressing one tooth or one issue at a time, Dr. Cook looks at the whole picture: color, shape, alignment, proportion, and how your smile frames your face.
Your plan may include porcelain veneers, professional teeth whitening, Invisalign or Six Month Smiles for alignment, tooth-colored fillings, all-ceramic crowns, bonding, gum contouring with our soft-tissue laser, or dental implants if teeth are missing. We use digital scans, intra-oral photography, and a wax-up or digital preview so you can see your future smile before any treatment begins. As a Dawson Academy Fellow, Dr. Cook combines bite function with esthetics, so your new smile not only looks beautiful, it lasts.
From your first consultation to your finished smile, treatment typically spans 3 to 12 months, with a design preview within a week or two of your consult. Here's what to expect at each stage.
From color to alignment to missing teeth, one cohesive plan
Years of coffee, wine, and natural yellowing brightened with whitening or veneers
Invisalign or Six Month Smiles to gently realign without traditional braces
Bonding, veneers, or crowns to restore length and a youthful shape
Bonding, veneers, or orthodontics to close gaps for a balanced smile
Soft-tissue laser contouring to reveal more of your natural teeth
Dental implants or bridges to restore both appearance and function
A smile makeover at Cook Family Dentistry combines cosmetic and restorative treatments into one cohesive plan, transforming your smile while fully accounting for your bite, function, and long-term dental health.
Smile freely in photos, meetings, and everyday conversation
Custom-designed shape and shade that suit your face and personality
Dawson-trained approach balances esthetics with healthy chewing
Quality veneers and crowns can last 10 to 15 years with proper care
Treatment paced around your life, budget, and comfort level
Restored length and brightness can take years off your smile
A coordinated smile makeover plan delivers more predictable, longer-lasting results than addressing individual concerns separately or with at-home products, with every treatment designed around your bite and facial aesthetics.

A smile makeover is a wonderful option for adults who feel their smile no longer reflects who they are, but candidacy depends on the health of your teeth and gums, your goals, and your timeline.
Dr. Cook will walk through every option, what is recommended, what is optional, and what makes sense to phase over time, so you feel fully informed before any treatment begins.
Your smile makeover journey at Cook Family Dentistry begins with a thorough consultation and digital design preview, then proceeds through carefully sequenced treatments at a pace that fits your schedule and budget.
Dr. Cook listens to your goals, examines your teeth and gums, and takes photos and digital scans with our Primescan.
Dr. Cook creates a custom plan and a wax-up or digital preview so you can see your future smile before treatment.
Dr. Cook completes any needed orthodontics, gum therapy, or implants first, so cosmetic work sits on a healthy base.
Dr. Cook places veneers, crowns, bonding, or whitening in phases, using CEREC and ceramic artistry for natural results.
Dr. Cook refines, polishes, and reviews your bite, then sends you home with care instructions to protect your new smile.
What to know before you begin
Common, temporary side effects include tooth sensitivity (especially after whitening or veneer prep), mild gum tenderness, and a short adjustment period as your bite settles into its new position. Most of these resolve within a few days to a few weeks.
Less common considerations include removing a small amount of enamel for veneers or crowns, the possibility of ceramic chipping over many years (typically repairable), and the importance of wearing a night guard if you grind your teeth.
Dr. Cook reviews every risk and every alternative with you before treatment, so there are no surprises along the way. Contact our office if you notice unusual, severe, or worsening symptoms during your treatment.
Smile makeover costs vary based on the treatments included, and Dr. Cook will provide a detailed written estimate with no obligation during your consultation so you have full clarity before moving forward.

Learn moreMost smile makeovers are completed in 3 to 12 months. A whitening and bonding plan may finish in a few weeks, while a comprehensive makeover involving Invisalign or implants typically takes 6 to 12 months. Dr. Cook will give you a clear timeline at your consultation.
Many components are long-lasting but not strictly permanent. Porcelain veneers and crowns typically last 10 to 15 years or longer with good care. Whitening results last 6 to 24 months and can be refreshed. Implants are designed to last a lifetime. We design your plan with longevity in mind.
Natural is the goal. Dr. Cook is a Dawson Academy Fellow trained in proportion, color theory, and how your smile frames your face. We use a digital preview and wax-up so you can see and approve your design before any tooth is touched.
Most patients describe smile makeover appointments as comfortable. We use local anesthesia, gentle techniques, and sedation dentistry is available if you have dental anxiety. Mild sensitivity for a few days after veneer or whitening visits is the most common experience.
Costs range widely, typically $5,000 to $30,000 or more depending on the treatments involved. We offer financing through CareCredit and Sunbit and can phase treatment over time to fit your budget. You will receive a detailed written estimate at consultation.
Not at all. Many patients choose to phase their smile makeover over months or even years. We prioritize health-related work first (like gum care or a broken tooth), then layer in cosmetic treatments at a pace that fits your life and budget.
Yes. Every smile makeover includes a digital smile design preview and, when appropriate, a wax-up or temporary mockup. You will see and approve your future smile before we move into final treatment.
