Cook Family Dentistry began in December 2011, when Dr. Cook and Dr. Stephanie Cook officially opened the doors of their own practice in Santa Rosa Beach.
Dr. Cook had been caring for patients along the surrounding communities since 2010, and together the Cooks set out to build something different: a hometown dental home where people feel known by name, listened to, and never rushed.
More than a decade later, that vision still guides every appointment. From first cleanings for little ones to full-mouth restorations and dental implants for longtime patients, we treat every person who walks through our door the way we would treat our own family.

Learn More About UsDr. Cassidy T. Cook, DMD, FAGD, FACD
Dr. Cook earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida and graduated Magna Cum Laude in Biology from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He completed a Residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Florida and went on to finish the Comprehensive Implant Residency Program. Dr. Cook is a Fellow of the Dawson Academy, a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and a Fellow of the American College of Dentists. He is also a certified Six Month Smiles and Suresmile provider and a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
His focus is on comprehensive, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, delivered with a gentle, patient-first style that puts even the most anxious patients at ease. Outside the office, Dr. Cook is married to Dr. Stephanie and the proud father of three children: Benton, June, and Kathryn. An avid Gator alumnus, he enjoys fishing, boating, golfing, and snow skiing, and is an active member of Good News church.

I lost a crown recently while visiting Santa Rosa Beach. Fortunately, Dr Cook was able to see me, do an exam, and advise me about my next steps. I loved visiting Dr Cook and his practice and was relieved to be seen at such short notice! Everyone in the office was friendly and highly professional. The office is beautiful and pristine, equipment high tech and appears to be state of the art. Highly recommended.

Megan is a wonderful dental hygienist. She gives clear instructions, and she wants me to be perfectly comfortable and relaxed while in the chair. She handles all of the equipment, hand held or mechanical, with ease, which assures me that she is an experienced professional dental hygienist. Doctor Cook’s exam always reminds me to brush gently for only 2 minutes with the softest toothbrush.

This was by far the best dental experience I have ever had! The office is very attractive inside and out. There is even a beautiful lake out back that you can enjoy as they work on your teeth! Dr. Cook is amazing! He was able to look at my x-rays and tell me that my sinuses were blocked and advised on what I can do to correct that nagging problem. No other dentist has ever done that for me. I didn’t know they could do that! I highly recommend him.
